Course Web Site Development: Advanced FrontPage Components: Hover Buttons

The FrontPage Hover Buttons component allows you to create web page buttons that react to "mouse stimuli".  To see this construct in action, move your mouse over the following buttons.

Hover buttons may also be configured to work with a URL, which makes the button click-able and well suited for web site navigation.

To create Hover Buttons on a web page, follow these steps:

1. Open up the page on which you wish to place a counter.
2. Click on the Insert menu.  Highlight Component, and then click on Hover Button.  The following window will appear.
   
   
   
   
3. In the blank labeled Button text, insert a string of text that will serve as the caption for the button.  If you wish to change the font style for your text, click the Font button.  Next, click on the Browse button to create a hyperlink that will be associated with this button.  Finally, you may define the specific colors and effects that will govern this button.  When you have finished, click the OK button.
