Using Real Presenter:
Publishing your presentation

This tutorial assumes that you are at Instructional Technology Services in the Faculty Resource Room, and that you have already recorded a voice overlay for your presentation.

You should have the following window on your screen:

Make sure that the Remote option is clicked off.  When you have finished, click the Next button.

You will then be asked to provide information about the streaming media server that will be delivering your presentation.  Most of these values should already be set.  If not, make your window conform to the one displayed below.

NoteThe blank labeled RealServer G2 Content Mount Point/Directory should not read "www/kapp_streaming".  Replace the word "kapp" with your UNIX account name.  Make sure to type this in using all lowercase letters.  Examples:  "www/ball_streaming", "www/bethpaul_streaming", "www/bennett_streaming".

Next you need to define some information about the TCNJ FTP server that will be transferring your presentation up to the network.  Fill in all blanks as they are defined below.  Replace "User Name" with your UNIX account name.  Replace "Password" with your UNIX password.  In the blank labeled "Directory Path for the Uploaded Presentation", replace the word "kapp" with your UNIX account name.  Also, note the name of your presentation directory.  In this case, it is "Creating_Streaming_Presentations".  Yours will probably be different.  You will need to remember this information for later.

Finally, you will be presented with the Publishing Summary window [below].  Click the Finish button.

If all of the values were set correctly, you will receive a confirmation window saying that your presentation was successfully published.

When your computer displays the following window, click the Done button.
